More and more people are choosing a diet without any meat. But did you know that while you are abstaining from many delicious foods, it does not necessarily mean that you will lose weight? On the contrary, there is a risk that you may actually gain weight because of the high carbohydrate intake. Here’s a vegetarian diet that helps you lose weight!
This is a way to give up meat and at the same time to lose weight.

DAY 1:
Breakfast: two slices of black bread / rye with vegetable pate, tea or coffee with a sweetener.
Snack: orange.
Lunch: vegetable pudding, raw vegetable salad.
Snack: an apple.
Dinner: raw vegetable salad with tofu slices.

DAY 2:
Breakfast: Two slices of black bread / rye with honey, tea or coffee with a sweetener.
Snack: an apple.
Lunch: vegetable socks (you can use a spoonful of olive oil for cooking, tomato salad).
Snack: a kiwi.
Dinner: cabbage salad, a baked potato spiced with rosemary or other aromatic plants.

DAY 3:
Breakfast: two slices of black bread / rye with vegetable pate, tea or coffee with a sweetener.
Snack: a grapefruit.
Lunch: rice with vegetables.
Snack: 50 g baked hazelnuts.
Dinner: vegetable soup, a baked potato spiced with rosemary or other aromatic plants.

DAY 4:
Breakfast: Two slices of black bread / rye with honey, tea or coffee with a sweetener.
Snack: an apple.
Lunch: Grilled vegetables (you can use a spoonful of olive oil).
Snack: a pear.
Dinner: vegetable soup, a boiled potato, seasoned with spices.

DAY 5:
Breakfast: two slices of black bread / rye with vegetable pate, tea or coffee with a sweetener.
Snack: orange.
Lunch: Vegetable soté (you can use a tablespoon of olive oil for cooking), tomato salad.
Snack: a kiwi.
Dinner: raw vegetable salad with tofu slices.

DAY 6:

Snack: a grapefruit.
Lunch: Vegetable soté, tomato salad.
Snack: 50 g baked hazelnuts.

Snack: an apple.
Lunch: rice with vegetables.
Snack: a pear.
Dinner: vegetable soup, a spicy potato spiced with spices.

Essential principles in the vegetarian diet

Breakfast is compulsory, but keep it rather small. So grab a little bite, even if you are not hungry.
Make your lunch the main meal for the day.
The evening meal should be light and served four hours before bedtime.
Observing strict eating hours is essential. Get used to eating at the same time without skipping any meal.
Do not eat fruit instead of dessert. Consume them separately as a snack between meals.
During the meal, do not drink water or other liquids, but only at least 30 minutes after you have finished eating.
Lemon is very well suited both when fasting and when on a diet. It does not give stomach burns, and quite the opposite, it’s alkaline and a great anti acid.
